to all the councillors that went for the canoeing and the track and field finals.the only thing i can say is:
SERVICE WITH HONOUR.
we did our best to do our job and i think we did it to the best of our abilities.and our best was superbly fantastic.if there was a lack of appreciation,at least we know we did our best.what matters is that we did our job.don't be discouraged,don't let your morale be dampened.we have to prove to them that we are capable of bigger things than cheering,we are capable of carrying out small tasks equally efficiently and effectively.like ruth said. 'school spirit comes from the heart.' if they lack it,at least we know that we have it.and that is what brought us to council.and if it was cos they lacked school spirit and didn't get into council,we are superior to them in the sense that we made the best out of our 2 years here.and that's something they missed out on.don't let this experience pull the rest of our term down.
ruth,chris,beng ah: lift your heads high and be proud.if anybody should be sorry it should be them.we did our best and i'm proud of you guys for never giving up. HUGS.
